New Cayman Brac University Campus soon to open
The Cayman Islands UCCI “University College Cayman Islands” have confirmed they will be opening the new University College of the Cayman Brac Islands, Cayman Brac Campus on the 1st August 2013. The Avistar III building on West End Road will be the new hub for tertiary education in the Sister Islands.
The aim of the campus is to offer tertiary education for all who have the passion and potential to learn. The University College of the Cayman Islands UCCI have undertaken the crucial step of opening their new Cayman Brac Campus which will provide the residence of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman with tertiary education which have never previously been available on the sister islands.
There are a large number of courses which are available at the Cayman Brac Campus, here is a small selection of some of the courses which are:
- Financial accounting
- Business Law
- Fundamentals of computer hardware
- Principles of Microeconomics
- Caribbean Literature
- Human Geography
- Mathematics – Discrete & Preparatory
- Introduction to politic science
- Government, business and society
- Introduction & developmental to Psychology
- Chemistry
- Spanish

The UCCI website also details the opportunity for pupils to attend courses for “CSC’” The Civil Service College which is versioned to inspire and help people realize the public services excellence all over the world.
