New $360 Million Dollar project set for the Cayman Islands this year

2014 is set to be a good year for developments in the Cayman Islands, with the opening of the Dr. Shetty Hospital, Cayman Enterprise City expanding and other major developments, Oasis Land Development where happy to hear about yet another massive project which is set to break ground this year.

A new $360 million development is set to break ground in Spring, according to developers. The new development which will include a Arnold Palmer signature golf course, will also feature a town center with shops, a tourism vacation resort with a resort hotel and club house. It is understood that the development will be built in phases over a number of years and will eventually include a 18 hole championship golf course; (2) 9 hole “executive” gold courses; a complete retail/office and commercial center, entertainment and a sports training complex.

The development will be situated in the east end of Grand Cayman on Frank Sound Road, near the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park in Grand Cayman. The development has a scheduled build time of 24 months for the first phase, the work will take place once all the necessary agreements and paperwork are in place.
