Camana Bay’s Billion Dollar Expansion Plan
Dart Realty plans to roll out further development of Camana Bay over the next 10 to 15 years to the tune of US$1.3 billion. Building bridges, elevating land, and rerouting and expanding the Esterley Tibbetts Highway to four lanes forms part of the immediate plan for the next few years.
“Since we commenced construction in 2005, we invested over a $1 billion in Camana Bay Town Centre. The next step of our development is to connect the Town Centre to Seven Mile Beach, sea to sound connectivity, and that will bring a beautiful 5 star hotel and another $300 million investment to Camana Bay,” said Dart Realty COO Jackie Doak.
“So our outlook for the development of Camana Bay over the next 10-15 years, which is the full 600 acres is US $1.3 billion in direct construction costs,” she added in an interview with Cayman 27.
Dart has gone through the technical review with both Planning and the National Roads Authority and plans to submit the civil works to the Planning Department in the next few months.
