INTRODUCTION

Located in the Western Caribbean Sea about 400 miles South of Miami and 180 miles South of Cuba, the Cayman Islands are a British crown colony with a stable democratic government and British Governor.

The Cayman Islands are comprised of Grand Cayman and – approximately eighty nine miles off the North Eastern end of Grand Cayman are the islands dubbed the “Sister Islands” of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. Grand Cayman is the largest island at 76 square miles and Cayman Brac and Little Cayman have areas of 14 square miles and 10 square miles respectively.
