As its name suggests, Little Cayman is the smallest of the Cayman trio – measuring just 10 miles (16.09 kilometres) long, by 1 mile (1.69 kilometres) wide. But its size doesn’t stop it from having a lot to offer, including no less than 40 historic and nature sites to explore. Off the beaten path, exclusive, remote, largely undeveloped, small and serene with friendly people and sun-drenched seclusion … Little Cayman is sure to lure you in.
For the more energetic, divers will delight in the legendary diving on Little Cayman. There are more than 50 dive sites on offer, including Bloody Bay Wall and Jackson Point. At Bloody Bay Marine Park – universally considered one of the best places on the planet to dive – the vertical coral wall begins at 20 feet (6.10 metres),plunging to a whopping 6,000 feet (1.83 kilometres). Little Cayman is also home to the islet Owen Island just off the south coast of Little Cayman Owen Island can be reached by sailboat or kayak, with no human habitation, homes or buildings Owen Island is a calming paradise.
