Grand Cayman is the largest of the three islands, spanning approximately 101 square miles (260 km2). It is approximately 22 miles (35.5 km) long with an average width of 4 miles (6.4 km), and is just an hour away from the USA. Direct flights to the Cayman Islands Owen Roberts International Airport are also available from the UK. One of the many attractions on Grand Cayman is the world-famous seven-mile beach. With soft white sand stretching as far as the naked eye can see, it is considered by many to be the most beautiful beach in the Caribbean.

On Grand Cayman there are plenty of different activities to enjoy — whether you prefer to simply relax and watch the waves roll in, or take your vacation up a notch and parasail over the crystal-blue waters. There is an abundance of watersports operators, hotels and beachside restaurants, so you’ll never be at a loss for what to do. Grand Cayman is also home to the capital Georgetown, which lays claim to some of the finest culinary and tax-free shopping experiences available in the entire Caribbean. But that’s not all; this idyllic island has a host of fun and educational activities to suit any age or aspiration, ranging from touring historical buildings to exploring exotic gardens, kayaking and sailing.

It’s hard to believe an island so small can offer so much, here what to expect in 2015 for Grand Cayman.

CEC – Cayman Enterprise City

Another award winning development on Grand Cayman is the Special Economic Zone known as Cayman Enterprise City. This development is created for knowledge-based industries who are looking to take advantage of a tax-exempt environment.

Setting up a company in a tax-neutral zone sounds quite scary, with the constant media scrutiny which is attached to owning a business in a tax-free zone CEC have made it simple and possible to benefit from an offshore company.

How? With physical presence on the islands CEC enables companies from around the globe to set-up local offices within CEC with staff on the ground, this allows the company to have a genuine offshore business.

Benefits of owning a business within CEC include – no visa restrictions, intellectual property, access to global markets, 100% exempt from corporate tax, capital gains tax, sales tax, income tax, import duties, 5 year visa granted in 5 days, IP owned offshore.

Based on Media City in Dubai, the CEC, once developed is set to bring the same glamour as the famous UAE state with CEC developers investing US$365,000,000 in the project. Source of Information www.caymanenterprisecity.com
